I am an Associate Professor at the Computer Science Department in the Fluminense Federal University since 2010. I earned my BSc in Mathematics in 2004 from the Rio de Janeiro State University and my M.Sc. and Ph.D. in Applied Mathematics in 2006 and 2009 from the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro. During my Ph.D. I was a visiting scholar at the Mathematical Geometry Processing group at the Freie University in Berlin. In 2015, I was a post-doc researcher at the ViDA Lab at New York University, where I was also an invited researcher in 2018. My research interests are Data Visualization, Information Visualization and Visual Analytics. Finally, I'm one of the heads of the Graphics Processing Research Laboratory (Prograf) at UFF.
