I am a PhD candidate in Computer Science at UFF, Brazil, supported by CNPq, the National Council of Scientific and Technological Development. My current research interests include distributed systems, software dynamic adaptation, power-aware computing, clustered server architectures, server virtualization, and applied combinatorial optimization. My advisor at UFF is Prof. Orlando Loques.

Currently, I'm a visiting PhD student conducting research in the department of computer science at Univ. of Pittsburgh with a fellowship from the Brazilian agency CAPES (sandwich program). My advisor at Pitt is Prof. Daniel Mosse'.
